Plethora
(Of Ancient Symbols and Tie-Dye Shirts)

By day I wait to see your face again.
By night I wait to her your voice anew.
But that is just the way it's always been,
I always dream my fruitless dreams of you.
You've gone away, and never to return.
You've gone away to call across the miles.
A lesson I believe that you should learn:
I am happier without my smile.
Sometimes I have to guess if you are still.
Sometimes I have to wonder why you're here.
And questions raised to powers give me fill
Day to day and month to month and year to year.

Of Ancient Symbols
And Tie-Dye Shirts
And Only Me
And Why it Hurts
Of Friends Deceased
And Friends Away
And Friends Are Blind
And I Can't Stay
Of Friends long gone
And Friends who stay
And questiones tired
And peace away.
